Hi, I’m Kim. I am an Australian voice actor, based in Melbourne. I love bringing characters and stories to life from behind the mic and have had the joy of doing it for over 20 years.
Some of the clients I’ve had the pleasure of working with on TV and radio commercials, promos, corporate narration and animation, explainer videos, IVR and exercise apps, include: Garnier, L’Oréal Paris, Deakin University, STA Travel, QV Face, SCA, NOVA Entertainment and KIIS FM.
At home, I work with a Sennheiser MK416 shotgun mic and PreSonus AudioBox iOne interface and am comfortable self-directing, recording and providing audio in your required format or linking up via Source Connect.
Bringing characters to life gives me a real buzz and over the years I have enjoyed learning and experimenting with vocal coaching and acting classes. In recent years I have trained with renowned voice and dialect coach Anna McCrossin-Owen, participated in Patsy Rodenburg’s The Full Craft voice workshop in London, and Iain Sinclair’s Match Fit at 16th Street Actors Studio.
On the other side of the mic, I have worked in the media, arts and entertainment industries in marketing and event producing roles. Outside of the studio I can be found at gigs, plays, films, exhibitions, record stores, taking analogue photos, travelling and pretending I have a green thumb.
